Are you a graduate with a degree in IT or Computer Science? Been working for a couple of years, but are now looking to build a career in a new direction? Always been interested in moving into the world of finance, but haven’t found the right role yet? Well, this could be just the thing!

Knight R&D Ltd – based in Farringdon, are looking a for driven ambitious Associate R&D Tax Consultant to join their flourishing team.

So- is this the role for you?

We are keen to talk to anyone with a back ground in IT and Software, looking to make a change to the finance sector while still being able to apply their existing expertise to a fresh challenge!

The right person will slide straight into our growing team, exposed to all areas of the claims process from beginning to end. You will be meeting with clients, applying your existing knowledge to their situation, liaising directly with HMRC about the their claim. You’ll be learning the technical side of R&D Tax, advising clients and writing reports focused to providing the highest level of service.

If you already have a couple of years in R&D Tax- that would be even better. However, as a company we are committed to investing in the best people, to achieve their professional goals, so if you are completely new to the sector, but are you looking for a chance to step in- we’d love to hear from you!

What will you be doing?

  • Liaising with clients to complete R&D Tax incentives claims
  • In-depth technical discussions with clients across multiple industries for identification of potentially qualifying R&D projects
  • Writing Software and IT industry focused technical descriptions and claim reports in a format suitable for HMRC
  • Undertaking financial analysis to assist clients in identifying potentially qualifying R&D expenditure
  • Managing a growing portfolio of clients
